The student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists at The King’s College marked the conclusion of its inaugural year with the election of a new president and by capping off the Spring semester with two talks featuring world-class journalists.
The Eighth class of the NYC Semester in Journalism (NYCJ) arrived in January from all over the United States. The class of eight students represent six colleges and universities.
“The Poynter Institute is a gold standard for journalistic ethics and leadership,” said Media Project Executive Director Paul D. Glader. “These hard-working journalists from the far corners of the world will pick up insights they can take back to the newsrooms in their home countries."
